Google have launched a social distancing augmented reality app called Sodar, which allows you to see what a 2m distancing zone around you looks like.

Mars Electric Field Mapped

Using the Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN) spacecraft, NASA have measured how solar winds interact with Mars to map the electric field around the planet.

The Binary Mist blog published a great piece on all the things that can be addressed while trying to improve software development productivity. The piece covers everything form bigger screens and better tools to improving processes and leaving developers alone (to avoid context switching). On a similar note, Jason Zubrick wrote on Medium about how to overcome some traditional company structural issues in order to integrate the technology element of a company more closely with the business element.

Poor old VBA is still top of the pile as the most dreaded programming languages :-) Thoughtworks also released the latest version of their technology radar, which is a great resource in seeing which techniques, tools, platforms and languages that are gaining traction with the tech landscape.
