In This Edition:
3 years left for 1.5 degrees, majority say climate change an important issue, emissions of North West Shelf project, how to photograph heat, & find video clips by text!

Friends, I'm looking for new projects. I've created a new Learnopt website to promote the bespoke cloud-based managed software solutions that I offer. Check it out: learnopt.com

If you have a project that needs an online tool or system to capture information, aggregate data and display reports, manage input from multiple stakeholders, upgrade from a Microsoft Excel workflow, self assess compliance against a data model, aggregate API data, track progress over time, or something else entirely, please reach out to discuss your needs.

3 Years Left For 1.5 Degrees

An updated assessment from 60 climate scientists state that we have 3 years left to stay within the carbon budget to limit warming to 1.5 degrees. If we don't meet that target though, every fraction of a degree reduced by cutting emissions matters.

Majority Say Climate Change An Important Issue

Image Hannah Ritchie, ONS

Hannah Ritchie published a post analysing the results of an ONS survey about Climate Change attitudes. 54-59% of people across all ages listed Climate Change as an important issue, and 69% of people across ages have already made changes to their lifestyle in an attempt to limit emissions.

How To Photograph Heat

Climate Visuals published a list of guidelines on how to photograph (and this report on) increasing heat temperatures, including focussing on the most affected, showing interventions against extreme risk, and most importantly, not portraying record heat using fun in the sun pictures.

Find Video Clips By Text
