Net Zero Cheaper Than 3 Degrees Damage

The OBR in the UK released a report showing that reaching Net Zero by 2050 would cost 6% of GDP but not reaching it would cost 8% of GDP along with untold damage, trauma, starvation, and death. Sounds like a deal to me. Can someone tell Western governments please?

Turn Plastic Into Paracetamol Using E.Coli

Engineering biologists at the University of Edinburgh have developed a method to turn plastic into paracetamol using a generically modified version of E.Coli that ferments the PET.

Climate Action Tech released their EcoWeb report, showing that there is a 30x gap in the emissions from websites that optimise for emissions reduction versus those that do not. The ICT sector accounts for 4% of global emissions, and every visit to every website contributes to these emissions.

Viewing Hidden Objects With Wireless Signals

Researchers at MIT have developed a new technique to allow hidden objects to be viewed using wireless signals. This technology can be applied to manufacturing and shipping to ensure objects inside boxes are not broken or misplaced before being shipped.
