Electricity From Solar Every Hour Every Day

Ember published a report detailing how solar electricity every hour of every day (97% availability) is now possible due to the reduced price of batteries, resulting in a price of $104 per MWh which is cheaper than coal and 22% less than a year ago.

Ireland's Climate Conversations

The Government of Ireland published the Climate Conversations 2024 Report, which captured a wide range of views from the public about Climate Change. When asked about the importance of Climate Change, 89% feel it is important, which is a very good base to work in to share more information and advocate for more Climate Action.

Green Hydrogen Beam Down Solar Reactor

The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in Australia have developed a solar beam down reactor that produces green hydrogen at 20% efficiency.

Climate Action in London & Paris

Mayors Anne Hidalgo and Sadiq Kahn published a joint piece about Climate Action they have taken in their cities of Paris and London, about the clean air figures the action has produced, and about the misinformation and disinformation they and their projects were subjected to. They suggest training on media literacy and climate science are taught to school-leavers to better help them spot falsehoods.

Jèrriais, Jersey's Native Language

The BBC published an interesting article on Jèrriais, Jersey's native language. The language was used as to pass secret codes and information while the island was occupied by the Nazis, and has since been going through a revival and standardisation.
