Temperature changes across 4 climate change scenarios have been analysed to project the amount of temperature related deaths from 2015 to 2099 in 854 European cities. The paper published in Nature Medicine states that "with no adaptation to heat, the increase in heat-related deaths consistently exceeds any decrease in cold-related deaths across all considered scenarios in Europe". The projections can be seen on these maps (we are currently on track for 2.7°C)
