This week we had an amazing NAWR concert featuring the first NAWR Ensemble. The Ode To Joy concert saw a range of musicians play and interpret Beethoven's Ode to Joy, the anthem of Europe, on a range of instruments from timpani, tenor horn, violins, theremin, banjo, electric harp and even a nose flute! NVIDIA have released a have showcased a demo of its GauGAN image generation tool. The software allows the user to draw rudimentary scenes using a interface similiar to MS Paint, which are then converted into photo-realistic scenes using generative adversarial networks. On St.Patrick's Day I attended The New Music From Ireland concert in Chaprter Arts Centre in Cardiff which featured Emma Coulthard, Jenn Kirby and Benjamin Dwyer. You can check out the photos from the concert here.

This week we took a short trip to London where my wife Jenn was giving the opening keynote for the {develop:BBC} internal BBC developers conference at the BBC Radio Theatre in BBC HQ.
Last weekend Munster travelled to Llanelli to face the Scarlets under some horrendous rain. The Scarlets came out the victors 10-6. You can check out the photos I took pitch-side for the MRSC here.
