Kirkos Speaking of Music

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing another amazing Kirkos event, Speaking of Music. The night of contemporary music and art involved a paint filled piano, newspaper stories played through instruments, whistling, space, a fish tank and a microphone massaged with Nivea, to mention but a few of the fantastic pieces performed in Riam Dublin on the night. 24.9 Billion Pixel Shanghai

The government of Shanghai commissioned a 24.9 Billion Pixel photograph of the city by BigPixel. The fidelity and scale of the image is incredible, from the top of a skyscraper you can zoom into leaves on a tree! I dare you not to spend time zooming in and exploring, and just when I thought I had had enough, I realised that the image is 360 degrees, you can turn around and see the rest of the city!

Munster V Leinster

The annual Christmas Munster rugby match against Leinster was a bit later this year, but it certainly wasn't without excitement and controversy! It was great to see the Moyross express return to Thomond Park though! :-) You can check out some photos of the match that I took from the East Terrace here.

Kirkos Body Noise Work

This week I had the pleasure of photographing the Body Noise Work event organised by Kirkos Ensemble in The Temple Bar Gallery and Studios in Dublin. The multi-disciplinary night combined art, music and performance art across four floors and featured an abseiling bath and kombucha among many other amazing performances. IAWM Annual Concert

This week I had the pleasure of photographing the IAWM Annual Concert in the Chapel at Trinity College Dublin. The concert featured works from women composers from all over the world and was delivered in spectacular fashion by Kirkos Ensemble and Michelle O'Rourke.
