TV Review: The Best of Enemies

This week I watched the Netlix documentary Best of Enemies. During the 1968 American Presidential campaign, the tradition among the TV networks was wall to wall coverage of both democratic and republican national conventions, where the party presidential candidates are decided. The ABC network was far behind NBC and CBS in market share, popularity and financial resources. As a result, they downgraded their coverage to nightly summaries, but need something else to attract viewers.

NVIDIA Photo Generator

NVIDIA have released a have showcased a demo of its GauGAN image generation tool. The software allows the user to draw rudimentary scenes using a interface similiar to MS Paint, which are then converted into photo-realistic scenes using generative adversarial networks. Million Dollar Vegan Campaign

Animal farming is the leading river in climate change, deforestation and species lost. The million dollar vegan campaign has issued a challenge to Pope Francis that if he goes vegan for lent, they will donate one million dollars to charity. The campaign wants to raise awareness for how trying vegan for lent can start the world down the road of halting climate change.
